Our planet has been devastated by climate change on a massive and sweeping scale. Civilization has been nearly eradicated by the ice that swallowed our planet.
In the clutches of a now-receding ice age stands the last bastion of human civilization and technology: A remarkable complex of self-sustaining, tube-like cities, suspended above the cloud layer that enveloped most of the surface after the onset of the ice age. Mankind may have survived here, but humanity has had little chance under the heel of the Global Corporation that made it possible to construct this wonder.
