1977 the Comic started life on June 1st, 2007. I experimented with formats and just plain getting use to drawing again. As of January 1st, 2008, I rebooted 1977, started the storyline over and chose a three times a week schedule. Its been a blast and the readership grows by leaps and bounds every month.
1977 the Comic is based very loosely on my experiences back in the wild - or what seemed like wild to us - days of the 1970s. Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll was still the call of the wild, but disco had invaded with a thunder and punk was just getting started.
