The purpose of this comic is to make people laugh, and do that 3 times a week. Some weeks will feature a unifying theme, some weeks won't. You'll never have to read a prior strip to enjoy a current strip. If you stumble in and only read one strip, you can rest assured you won't be missing out on the future of the characters of that strip. Unless I change my mind someday and decide to bring characters back. But only if it would be funny on its own. If it's funny without having read that first strip, I'll do it. Then it's extra funny for the folks that saw the first strip.
