Ailevian is a cursed place, ruled by the tyrant Lord of Lies, Zairen. Everyone on the planet is effected by this curse. By will they can transform into a beast that is capable only of destruction and malice and terrible evil. Cities have been destroyed, many lives have been lost, and only great pain has been caused by the curse.

In order to cure this curse, the powerful and wise Lord Olgrich of Doumaar forged the Medallions, life-giving, powerful, magic artifacts. He will give them to whomever desires one freely. The Medallions cure the curse, destroy the beast within, and bestow mysterious powers upon the wearer.

However, even though there are many who have been freed from the curse, it still reigns surpreme, and the world has seen no end to it's grip. Lord Olgrich has a plan- a plan that will destroy the curse forever. But he has waited for a long time for the perfect moment to carry out this plan, and the perfect person to task with it...
