In the late 19th century, Europe is the forerunner of a new, more powerful industrial revolution, spreading its machine driven influence with the hopes of bettering the lives of its citizens. Yet across the Atlantic, in the small burgeoning towns of America, a young woman by the name of Vanessa Clarke is ready to be put to death for crimes that run far deeper than any would suspect.
