The surprisingly near future:
Every surface is a screen, there are cameras everywhere, and privacy is a myth. In the age of information, there are two types of currency: money and personal info, and the mafia has a growing capital on both.
Enter Rex and Cosmo, best friends, college students, and secretly also the infamous, legendary hacker-hitman duo known as Hack & Slash. They're about to get hired by someone they really don't want to get hired by, to do a job far too dangerous for either of them, pretty much "for exposure," but also for the greater good.
Shenanigans ensue.
