HECTOR! is a web comic created with one goal in mind. To create a western web comic that people will be able to support and enjoy. What I mean by Western is not so much the genre, (although my particular background subconsciously injects those themes) but rather the western style of comic making. I truly wanted to create a balance out there. 'm not sure if you've noticed, but there is an over whelming amount of flamboyantly dressed manga elves. It was my opinion that the web comic community needed its first D*#k, A strong, powerful, silly, and unrelentingly rough comic.

HECTOR! is the story of a man named William Moore who has somehow awoken in the realm called Story. William Moore has not only awoken into a new and strange world, but he has also awoken into the identity of Hector of Troy. Which, if you are familiar with the story of Troy or the Trojan War...or the Iliad for you scholars out there, you will know that Hector presents some very large proverbial shoes for any man to fill. Especially in this case as we slowly learn more and more about William Moore's life before entering this world.

HECTOR! is about a couple of things. It is about straightening up and excepting responcibility for your actions. It is about learning to trust those around you. It is about the importance of family. It is about protecting those you love. But most of all, HECTOR! is about having fun and living in the moment. It provides a classical escape into the realm of myth and story.
