SIMULACRUM is a sci-fi webcomic set in a retro-futuristic 23rd Century. Following the nuclear fallout of the Third World War and the disastrous effects of advanced global warming, society on Earth is divided between the haves and the have-nots. The fortunate in society live in cities protected from the poisoned environment and rely heavily on advanced technology, including the giant worldwide computer network that the Internet has evolved into and all manners of robots. Unbeknownst to a majority of the population, the unfortunate in society have been removed from the protected cities and have been forced to live outside. Humans who have been resourceful enough to leave Earth now live in the interstellar Sectorian Colonies where they have contacted several extraterrestrial races and have made friends and enemies alike.

When Ara Sahar’i, a half human/half alien con artist, and Sirius Steel, an android detective from the Los Angeles Cosmopolitan Police Department, discover the truth about Earth’s corrupted government, they must forge an unlikely alliance to not only save themselves from being the government’s next victims, but also to deliver a message to the Sectorian Colonies that could save those on Earth who are being mistreated.
