Acrylic Eyes is an odd look at the world of Asian Ball-Jointed dolls... or more accurately a look at the world how they might see it. Omi and Seiki are both vinyl dolls. From a technical point, neither one is a "true" BJD, since they have friction joints instead of the traditional "ball-joints".
The story starts off with Omi, Seiki, their owner Jeanie and a mystery box? Omi isn't happy, Seiki is on the verge of hiding and Jeanie is oblivious to the turmoil going on in her happy little home. Now the only questions remain, who/what is in the box, and how will Omi react?
