"Mystics" is a homage to everything I love about Golden Age comics in general,and particularly Timely's brilliant, goofy mix of science fiction, horror, adventure, clumsiness and brilliance. "Mystics" is set in 1942, when World War 2 was in full swing. In this setting, several costumed adventurers make their debut. The first book of "Mystics" consists of five chapters - four origin stories for the individual heroes, and the group's first adventure together as a team. This sequence will run twice weekly for 24 weeks. After that, well,...the story may continue with more adventures, and go into other much-loved genres and sweeping story arcs!
