Set in the mysterious realm of Glas, The story follows disgruntled Dobrinia as she becomes entangled in a web of desire, revenge and magic. In the wake of a bloody battle between magicking and non-magicking folk, Dobrinia has been seperated from her father – the bounty hunter Borya Malek – and stranded in a half deserted town. When she hears of the Tzar’s decree offering his daughter’s hand to one who can build a flying ship, Dobrinia – accompanied by Brick the dog – ventures back into the mystical realm from which she’s been cut off, to find that not only has the world around her changed, but perhaps she has too.
