Many families were affected by the catastrophic sinking of Sea Mauville 15 years ago. Roxy and May's mother is a survivor of its destruction and has done her best to move on and bury the tragedy behind her, building a fresh start in Littleroot. Unfortunately, the Devon Corporation has received approval to start digging through the wreckage, which reopens old wounds and kickstarts a series of events very close to home that make confrontation with the past impossible to avoid. Or rather, it may have been avoidable if the stubborn and belligerent Roxy were able to keep her nose out of Devon's business…
