The strip focuses on the frequently irate demon Mel, drawn out from hell, who is searching for her soul and the human she has persuaded into helping her (by stealing his soul). As they quest for the artifacts that will accomplish Mel's goal they meet a variety of characters; some of them not so friendly. The emphasis of the strip is on humourous interaction and long-term pacing."
