It’s the end of the previous millennium in rural Idaho. The Freak Police’s super security system that spans all of Magic Valley City (and beyond!) would be a crime lord’s dream come true if they could gain access and link it to much more profitable cities—after taking over Suzette King’s abundant gold mine, of course. King’s mine funds the Freak Police, created by her niece, Captain Connie Jayne Wahtomy, whose dream is to see police forces for Freaks become a staple in American security. If she can’t keep the crime lords from corrupting her team and her security system, there’s no hope for Freaks in the justice system.
